The One That Helps

(John 14:16-17 NLT) And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. (17)He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

Focus On The Voice And Listen

(1 Samuel 3:4-11 NLT) Suddenly the Lord called out, “Samuel!” “Yes?” Samuel replied. “What is it?” (5) He got up and ran to Eli. “Here I am. Did you call me?” “I didn’t call you,” Eli replied. “Go back to bed.” So he did. (6) Then the Lord called out again, “Samuel!” Again Samuel got up and went to Eli. “Here I am. Did you call me?” “I didn’t call you, my son,” Eli said. “Go back to bed.” (7) Samuel did not yet know the Lord because he had never had a message from the Lord before. (8) So the Lord called a third time, and once more Samuel got up and went to Eli. “Here I am. Did you call me?” Then Eli realized it was the Lord who was calling the boy. (9) So he said to Samuel, “Go and lie down again, and if someone calls again, say, ‘Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went back to bed. (10) And the Lord came and called as before, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel replied, “Speak, your servant is listening.” (11) Then the Lord said to Samuel, “I am about to do a shocking thing in Israel.

(John 10:1-4 NLT) “I tell you the truth, anyone who sneaks over the wall of a sheepfold, rather than going through the gate, must surely be a thief and a robber! (2) But the one who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. (3) The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. (4) After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice.

Take The Step

‬(Psalm 119:105 NLT) Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

(Galatians 5:22-23 NLT) But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, (23) gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
