Philippians 4:19 – My God Shall Supply

(Philippians 4:19)And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

ὁ δὲ Θεός μου πληρώσει πᾶσαν χρείαν ὑμῶν κατὰ τὸ πλοῦτος αὐτοῦ ἐν δόξῃ ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ.

1.”My God”
-Paul’s situation wasn’t a good example of God’s riches was it?

2.Will Supply All Your Needs
-The power of hope
-The power of sowing and reaping
(Luke 6:38) Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

(Galatians 6:9) Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

(Psalm 23:1) The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want

3.According To His Riches

God is rich
Man of sorrows
(Isaiah 53:3 NLT) He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.

(Ephesians 3:16) I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,

(2 Corinthians 8:9) For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

(Ephesians 3:20 NLT) Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
