(Psalm 34:17 NLT) The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them
    from all their troubles.
Question of the day...Have you ever needed God’s help?
Who will be honest and say there is an area of your life you need God’s help?
    ● I bet we all have a list...older I get the more I realize I need help...it’s hard to help myself
    ● But we don’t have to depend on ourselves...we don’t just have will power...we have a higher power!
No matter how far down we may feel we can have a COMEBACK!
    ● I love comebacks...the best part of sports...Lebron semi-finals / Japan comeback to win the 2011 world cup
    ● STORY - Landon’s comeback!
Our God is a comeback God...he loves stepping in to rescue us...to help us...even at our lowest point...
    ● The bible is full of the stories! Real people just like us, in situations just like we face
    ● IF HE DID IT ONCE HE CAN DO IT AGAIN!
God can give you a comeback from...
    ● Your mistakes
    ● Things we have done to ourselves...Physical, Finances, Relationships
    ● All of us have messed up...mistakes are frustrating but they don’t have to define our lives
    ● In the bible people had a comeback from terrible mistakes...Moses, Paul, David, Peter...
    ■ Mistake 1 - Walks out on the water but then takes his eyes off Jesus (his classic mistake)
    ■ Mistake 2 - Jesus is sharing his heart about the crucifixion and he rebukes Jesus (called Satan)
    ■ Mistake 3 - Jesus arrested in the garden and he cuts the ear off of the guard (Jesus fixes it)
    ■ Mistake 4 - He denies Jesus 3 times at his most desperate hour (full of guilt)
    ■ He was done...goes back to fishing...then he has his comeback.
    ■ Jesus calls out him and restores him...He quit fighting for control and puts God in control.
    ● He goes on to do amazing things...
    ● His comeback verse -
(1 Peter 5:6) Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
    ● Before we move on I have to share a comeback testimony – Chris King
    ● Your wounds
    ● These are the things we didn’t ask for...they were done to us.
    ■ Most are relational – Words, Betrayal, Abandonment, Abuse ● You can have a comeback...even from the worst wounds...Joseph proves it
    ■ Wound 1 - Brothers were jealous and decided to kill him and threw him in a pit (unwanted)
    ■ Wound 2 - Felt bad about that so instead sold him in slavery (rejected)
    ■ Wound 3 - Finds favor then is accused of seducing Potiphar’s wife (falsely accused)
    ■ Wound 4 - Thrown in prison (awful situation) and interprets some dreams (forgotten)
    ■ Each should have been a death sentence but Joseph looked to God & had a comeback
    ● Eventually he becomes wildly successful and he is given the chance for revenge
    ■ His comeback verse -

(Genesis 50:20) You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
    ● Instead of letting the wound define him he gave the wound definition. With God you can do the same!
    ● Comeback Testimony – Kirkpatrick Story
    ● Our circumstances
    ● Things life brings our way...life happens...this world is a crazy place.

    Start Believing
(Matthew 19:26) Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

    ● LETS CHOOSE TO BELIEVE!
    Let Go 手放す
    ● Only when we start believing can we let go of what has happened...can’t live our past
(Isaiah 43:18-19) Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

    ● I think the key to letting go is fully embracing what happened...let it hit you like a wave then move over.
    Get Intentional
    ● Put God First – Devotions and Church
(Proverbs 3:6) in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

(Ecclesiastes 4:12 NLT) A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
    ● Make a Plan - Growth Track
(Proverbs 29:18 MSG) If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.

    ● If you need some confidence today that you can have a comeback
(Romans 8:11 NLT) The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

(1 Corinthians 6:17-19 NLT) And don’t you realize that if a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? For the Scriptures say, “The two are united into one.” (17) But the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him. (18) Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. (19) Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,
